Minimum RON Fee, Advance Payment and Refund Policy
$50The $50 minimum includes the applicable notarial fee, communication technology and professional document handling. The component charges below explain the minimum; they are not added again. Additional documents, notarial acts or signers may increase your total.
The minimum fee includes the Pennsylvania notarial fee, secure communication technology, identity-verification processing, professional document handling, appointment administration, the live audio-video session and delivery of the completed electronic document following successful notarization.
Payment is required before every online session. Your total fee will be confirmed before payment.
If you do not pass Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) or the required identity verification, the notarization cannot proceed. Your payment is nonrefundable because platform, identity-verification and appointment-processing costs have already been incurred.
Each new session requires a separate advance payment. Payment from an unsuccessful session does not transfer to a new session.
Each online session must be paid in advance. Please review the nonrefundable identity-verification policy above before submitting payment.

You will receive the total amount due before the appointment is confirmed. Additional charges will not be added during the session unless the document package or requested services change.

What Is Included in the RON Appointment Fee?
Your Remote Online Notary appointment fee covers document intake and electronic preparation, appointment administration, secure communication technology and identity-verification processing. Upon successful identity verification and completion of the signing, it also includes the live audio-video notarization, electronic notarial certificate and seal, and delivery of the completed electronic document.
